Probaly the same reason men do it. People either think it's going to be this cool iberating thing, or they're broke and desperate. There are plenty of people who've posed nude and never regretted it; Pamela Anderson comes to mind, as do the three girls shacked up with Hugh Heffner. I'm pretty sure LaToya Jackson's cool with it, too.
I should say, I wouldn't set out to do that, but if I was broke and had a kid to feed, all bets would be off!

They do it for two reasons: the desire for fast and easy money, and because they often have no self-respect. In the case of celebrities baring it all, it is often done in an attempt to revive their careers at any cost.

The SAME reason guys pose for them. To get attention and money((if money is involved)).
Pornography isnt gonna go anywhere anytime soon. If you dont like it dont watch it, you act as if people can force you to watch it.
