Usually beaches have names, in Hawaii every beach has a name, even if it's not really "offically" the name. Everyone knows the beach by it's nickname. That beach should have a name. If it doesn't then I guess you could put like "on the sands near -------- hotel (left)" or whatever. If you put an address you might confuse them by having them think it's at that address. But you'll probably end up confusing some either way. Be sure to post signs near the location on that day to be sure they don't get lost though!

I would send a mapquest map with directions. Since some beaches don't allow weddings without a permit, I would first check on that. Also, some beaches allow tents or arches giving the guests a landmark to look for. Also, I would have a designated person in the closest parking lots directing people to your event, perhaps flower petals outlining the walk to the area where the wedding will take place. Be warned many beach goers will like to watch so there will be onlookers wanting to see the festivities. Most will honor the area and not take seats from guests so if you want to surround your area perhaps with posts with ribbons or a tent etc., would help especially with crowded beach areas.
Have a great sunny day! I always wanted to get married on the beach. Maybe next time!

Not every beach as a name, I think your idea for the cross streets is good. Or, on the invitation itself, you could say "The Beach in Newport" and then provide a map and directions that states the cross streets, etc, so that people know where to find you. I don't think you have to include the exact details on the invitation itself, it might take away from the romantic wording.

All you beaches should meet us at the beach :) No, really you need to give landmarks if there is no address, the parking area should have an approximate address or cross streets, they can find it from there.

If you're planning on spending some money on the stuff, maybe get tiny boxes, fill them with sand on the bottom, some ocean blue tissue paper laying on top of it, and set your beautiful paper invitation on top of it. You could make the invites a beachy color maybe blue, or a sand colored paper, with blue writing? - and put shell designs all over that. Tropical wedding invitations blossom with lush hibiscus and other florals, and grapes hint at a vineyard wedding. If your destination is Paris or Las Vegas, you'll find fun and romantic wedding invitation styles with lots of ooh la la! For guests who aren't able to attend, be sure to send out wedding announcements.

Use the beach name that it is known for like Zuma, Venice (just examples) then use land marks nstead of buildings like, where the palm trees meet or 5 paces from the harbor.
Good luck and congrats!!

Sounds just like our wedding, except we're marrying in February. We just said "the pleasure of your company is requested at the marriage of Bride and Groom... I thought that wording was much less formal and more appropriate for that type of wedding.
