To recieve federal grants how many classes or units do you need to do?

The minimum amount is 6 credits (half time) during the fall and spring semesters. The maximum amount per semester is $2155 for a full time student (12 credits). However, if you plan on attending during the summer sessions, it will be split three ways. However, the amount given to you will be dependent on your EFC score. It is based on your family size along with how many will be attending college. It utilizes a percentage formula of your income and savings along with your parents' income and savings. It needs to be completed each year until you graduate from college. I am including some free resources below to find money for college. Good luck!
