1.5 GPA...yes i know its pathetic. And i desprately want to transfer. Now is it possible to not report my grades from my previous college and act like i dont even have any credits yet and am just going into college in my new college application? or will my new college figure it out if i try that and dismiss me?
I really hate the college i'm at now and i feel as though i'd do much better at this new college.

I know this question is in the wrong section..but i felt if i put this question in this section it'd get a lot more answers than the right section.

you cannot transfer without transcripts. You can however, apply to that college like any other newbie and see if they will accept you, based on your high school grades. Be aware, they will run your social security number, and your old transcripts will eventually catch up with you. So, if you are accepted at the college of your choice, you'd better work really hard to make exceptional grades so they don't toss you on your can when your old grades eventually show up.

If you transfer, the credits the receiving college accepted will count toward the GPA. However, some colleges accept grades or C or better. With such a low GPA, some of it will probably not transfer at all.

You could just apply to a new college and not mention any previous college experience. Nothing will transfer in that case. You should really talk to the adviser at the new college and discuss your concerns. Obviously, do this before you apply. Since they don't know who you are, you don't have to worry about it affecting your applications.

Your grade will consistently stay with you. there is something called "grade forgiveness" (i'm undecided if it rather is in basic terms a Florida element or no count if it quite is usa huge), yet you ought to use it two times and retake the class and alter your grade. talk on your consultant approximately grade forgiveness and in the experience that your college has that, you may retake your 2 lowest instructions (fairly no count if it quite is nicely worth greater credit) and positioned across your GPA up. community college is likewise a great place to commence. community colleges have smaller classification sizes and are in a place to help their pupils greater effective than a extensive college with 500 pupils smooshed in a lecture corridor. sturdy success!

The university that I went too required that you list all prior colleges you attended, no matter the GPA. They have the right to expel you if you are not upfront about it. But usually colleges don't care. They just want your money. lol.. Just be up front and honest with the enrollment councilors. They will work to get you into college.

Discipline!!! Make a promise to yourself that you would not go out with friends or even watch a movie at home until you get most if not all of your homework understood and done. The sooner you get into this habit the bette because college will only get harder. Get the work done so you can go out and party. Make it the time of your life. Have a good time in college.

i would just go and apply at the new college and not say anything about the old one unless they ask. then i would tell the truth and see what happens. maybe you were under a lot of stress at the old one and you could tell them you know a change would be the best thing for you right now.

I reapplied to a different school and didn't report it. Was too scared to lower my GPA. Go for it too. It's not like a police record that will follow you everywhere you go.
