oh no.
i have had two king charles caviler spaniels for a very long time. they are very small also. and recently, we got two new border collie puppies. the two cavilers (lexi and princess) are sitting beside me right now. they dont ever feel left out, and we have plenty of love for all of our dogs.
i think getting a border collie would be fine.
good luck :]

just plan to give the same amount of attention to both dogs if possible. If not, then play with the new guy out of sight of the old guy.
I am sure that your dad has researched border collies so he probably knows that these are working dogs who need a job in order to be happy. They were bred to help herd livestock and if they do not have a job and are kept active and engaged, they can get very destructive out of boredom.

Be sure the dogs meet away from the home. Max will be try to be alpha if you bring in a new dog. Meet at the park or a frineds house, after they have played together they won't mind going home together. And Max can rule a bigger dog.

Be sure that you do not pet the new dog first, don't feed the new dog first. etc.

Be sure the 2dogs know that the humans are alpha.

The chihuahua will feel left out because the border collie is a much smarter dog and the chihuahau is stupid.

Pulling out, has never, and will never, stop a pregnancy. Use a condom and get her on the pill. Having unprotected sex shows that neither of you care about each other enough to be having sex to start with. If you really cared about her you would have used a condom for HER protection. You better pray to go you got lucky, she has a very high chance of being pregnant. Grow up, be responsible and stop having sex until you are mature enough for it.

Do you watch the Dog Whisperer? If not, just watch a couple shows and you'll see how you need to be the lead dog of both. I bet it'll be fine if you keep both exercised well.
