OK guys, do boys like girls that are not necessarily preppy, but they are cute, because all the boys the that I know only like hot girls. I'm getting kind of annoyed - do boys like girls that are witty, smart, and cute, or do they only like giggly, obnoxious, hollister- type girls??? I can be flirtatious if I want, but that is only sometimes. Basically what I am trying to ask is do boys like girls that are not typical preppy teenagers?

I admit, I'm not a guy.
But, I'm a nerd, and I have a boyfriend.
The thing is, most boys are really, really, really shy. Especially the ones who want actual relationships, not just a trophy girl.
If there's a boy you like, try flirting with him a bit, and making the first move.

Ok...most young boys will only like hot girls...it's kind of natural. It takes a couple year for them to calm down and like other types of girls. Preppy girls are more flashy, so they attract the guys...it's all nature.
Though, there are, of course, lots of boys that like witty, smart and cute girls....however they are not the cool guys. They are the normal guys that get ignored most of the time. You, no doubt ignore these guys yourself.
It's kinda a weird circle..girls only like the cool sports guy with the car and money...those guys only like the preppy girls...then all the girls say all the guys only like preppy girls....see the hole there?
