fry it with onions, chicken broth and maybe garlic to spice it up. You may even consider a little hot pepper sauce (just a pinch) to compliment the other foods.

i make the basic brown rice with either veggie or chicken broth.. to save time you can toss it in a rice cooker. .

but another type of grain i've been loving lately is quinoa- from what i've heard, its the South American verison of couscous (which I also love).. it looks the same as rice and there are tons of recipies online for it and it is extremely healthy as well.. try it out and see, you may find you love the alternatives to brown rice!

Most rice alone lacks flavor. Try adding flavor. Why not experiment? Make some brown rice and divide a little into different cups, and add different ingredients to each cup such as cinnamon and garlic etc.

hi Daniels Mum, i understand what you recommend, i become bored of the standard issues too! i at present made a sparkling recipe, and it went over ok at my living house. placed 2 cups cooked cut back up hen in a casserole dish, upload one kit frozen blended greens, a million can cream of hen soup, a million can cream of celery soup, 2 cans milk, 2 cups minute rice. mixture ok, bake at 350 for 30 mintues, then placed 2 boxes refridgerator biscuts or cresent rolls on desirable and returned in oven for about 12 minutes. I made it this manner final week and it grew to become into quite solid! I blended the soups and milk in a field and then extra them, it works a splash much less complicated this manner. you may desire to upload much less rice in case you like, it made lots!!

I would recommend using a chicken or vegetable broth instead of using water.

Use chicken stock instead of water to cook it and, just before serving, stir in some toasted pine nuts....

The perfect thing to make is couscous (spelling?). It is a lot like rice and is found in most grocery stores.
