From what we know people have been on the earth for about 6007 years, give or take. We don't know how long Adam was in the Garden, or how long it took to actually create the earth. The Bible says 7 days, but God's days could be longer than our days.

the earth is miilions or billions of years old
Christian ignorance is amazing!
rapture believers and the young earth!
why don't you study the bible instead
of listening to men?
even the bible declares it to be ancient

II Peter 3:5-7
"For this they are WILLINGLY IGNORANT of,
that by THE WORD OF GOD (bible)
the heavens were of OLD, (Greek = out of time, for a long while {Genesis 1:1}{ANCIENT!})
and the earth standing out of the water
and in the water:

Whereby the world that then was (ANCIENT),
being overflowed with water,
perished: (first earth age perished, catabolt =
Greek = destruction, nothing, void {Genesis 1:2} destroyed by God, after Satan's rebellion)

But the heavens and the earth which are now,
(Genesis 1:3-on, God re-created the earth, 2nd earth age, we live in now)
by the same word are kept in store,
reserved unto fire against the day of
judgement
and perdition of ungodly men."
(3rd earth age, first day of the millenium,
Christ's return, the future.)

Huckabee! please let's get a president who knows something!

You are probably close to being correct, one of the things that throw off scientists is that God created everything in its prime of life, from man to animals to trees, everything was created whole, The Bible says the trees were created with fruit, just like in the garden, Adam and Eve didn't wait 10 years for a fruit tree to grow fruit, every thing God made was in its prime. Just like we will be in Heaven, Praise the Lord. Come quickly Lord Jesus Come quickly!!!

Incorrect - Ussher's date of 4004 BC makes the earth older than you suppose.

But Ussher probably wasn't correct.

Isn't this fun?

Humans have only been around that long. The earth is much, much older than that.

You forgot to include how you don't celebrate halloween for the vile holiday that it is; that you're happy to know we aren't monkees; that you go door to door to forcibly convert atheists and pagans; that you rebuke everything that doesn't have a crucifix on it.
