Absolutely...the war on terrorism is a great example...look at the people wrongfully detained because of the suspicion of being associated with terrorist...look at the Patriot Act and the freedoms that people in the country willingly gave up to catch those that might be terrorist...all in the name of being "safe". I agree, homophobia is another good example. Yes, witch hunts still exist and new ones are around the corner unless people stop judging one another.

Yes. I think it's more dangerous, because the governments and multi-national corporations have more reach and power than any individual could possibly stand up against today.

They happen everyday in different forms from Homophobia to Islamphobia....people will always be "Burned" for what they think is right....
