Worried?? call your vet. that's why he gets paid the big bucks. But it is normal for them to lay around some. It's pretty traumatic to have all that medication dumped into your system at one time. If you were having a major reaction you would see it by now. But be safe not sorry later and wish you had called.

That doesn't sound right, call the vet where he got them, ask if that is a normal reaction from those particular shots. Make sure the dog is still drinking, and staying hydrated, i would add some chicken or beef broth to the water r( just a little make sure it is highly diluted) this will help keep her hydrated. Until you can call the vet.

If you just got them today, some shots make dogs a little drowsy my dog gets a little sleepy after the yearly shots. Give it a day or two and eh should be fine, however it it's been a day or two fallow what i said first.

Is he swelling up at all? His face? If so, get him to a vet.

If he is just acting lethargic, that is okay as long as it doesn't last more than 36 horus after the shots. He should be awake, but maybe not moving around a lot or eating.

My cat barely moved for 24 hours after she got her shots. It can be normal.

If you are really concerned, call your vet.

My suggestion -- call your vet & tell them what is going on with your fur baby. He may be having a reaction to his shots. 2 weeks ago we took our pug for her shots - she had a severe reaction over several hours that require 2 more trips to the vet for a steriod shot & an antihistimine shot. You may want to think about having them check him out -- just to be on the safe side & not sorry later.

Give him a few days. Sometimes dogs can have a little reaction from the shots, especially the toy dogs. Let him sleep and don't over stress him.

It probably wouldnt hurt to call the vets office where he got the shots....describe the symptoms and make sure it is to be expected. He may just need a few days to rest, but it wouldnt hurt to call and make sure!
