This is our story, me and my boyfriend start dating four years ago, I am for another country and I didnt have a visa to US till last year, so he visited me for about 5 times to my country for a week each time and when i get my visa I went to visit him for about 8 months, I thought that he will say something to me about getting engage or at least a plan for us, while i was there everyone keep asking us when we will get married but he always had a hard time to answer...so before I come back to my country i told him that I want a family with him and be with him forever, he said that he wants the same but it is harder for him to make decisions since he has been single for so long and now he needs to get use to the idea to be with someone...it is hard to be so far, so what do you think I should do...he is 36 by the way, and we have a nice relationship and he calls me a lot saying how much he miss me...help me

I think it may be hard for him to decide because he is not used to that type of environment. Maybe he wants to get engaged and have a family but he doesn't know what to do about it because he is not used to it. And maybe he doesn't know what will happen because you both live in different countries. I think the best way to fix this is to talk to him and tell him you want to commit to him but talk to him seriously. And show him that if he doesn't do anything about it he might lose you. :)
