What a tough question. I have a soft spot for GSD.
Boston Terriers are very loving.
It's Pembrook and Cardigan Corgi's. :) The difference is that a Pembroke has a long tail and Cardigan has a natural short tail.
Hope this helps! :)

I knew a newf that lived in my neighborhood when I was a kid. GREAT dog, excellent with people of all ages. But slobbered like a fiend and required extensive grooming.
Dealt with an italian greyhound when I worked in a grooming shop. Cute little dog, but very high strung. Also a long-lived breed, the one I dealt with was pushing 18 years old.
Boxers and great danes are generally nice, even tempered dogs. But both breeds tend to drool quite a bit. The boxer does seem to be a bit more temperamental than the dane.
GSDs are great all around dogs. Provided you get one from a reputable breeder. Some have been overbred and tend to be a little nuts.
French bulldogs and Bostons are great smaller sized dogs. Both can be very fiesty so you'd better like that temperament if you have one. Both do have issues with breathing because of their short muzzles. They don't do well in extreme heat and may need a jacket in extremely cold weather.
I haven't really had any contact with tibetan mastiffs.
AmStafs and pits are great, but like the GSD make sure you get one from a reputable breeder because there are a lot of poorly bred ones out there that could have behavioral issues.

Obviously, I prefer the Cardigan Corgi - I've got 2. Both dogs are extremely nice, smart and easily trained. Cardigans have long tails, are larger than the Pembrokes , have larger ears than the Pem's as well. Pem owner's love them, I personally prefer the Cardi's for their disposition.
1.Know nothing about the mastiff.
2.Neighbor had the greyhounds - she loved them - they hated everyone else.
3.Pit and staff's, hmmmm two different dogs, training and breeder is the key. I myself, wouldn't go there.
4.Boxer, great dog, lots of energy, very loyal.
5.Great Dane - 200lb non-neutered GD attacked one of my corgi;s without any warning. there was no way the owner could control him. we are all lucky we got out of there. 'nuff said.
6.gsd - sorry, dont know what that stands for.
7.french bull - great dog, very nice
8.boston - had one for 12 yrs till he passed - one of the sweetest animals around.
as much as we loved the boston, we're cardi owners for life now....
best of luck to you, and good job doing research before you buy...

Newfs are very sweet, but shed and slobber and really ought to be around water
Great Danes are wonderful and are couch potatoes..but HUGE and need plenty of space
Tibetan Mastiffs are good dogs - shed a lot and CAN be aggressive, but not always
Boxers are wonderful...but very very high energy!
GSD - Smart and easily bored. They do best when they have a 'job'
Those are the only ones I know about. Nice is such an odd term I'm assuming you mean friendly and I feel in my own experience that Newfs and Danes are the friendliest to just about anyone that walks up to them....Golden Retrievers are the same

2 kinds of corgis:
1) Cardigan Welsh Corgis
2) Pembroke Welsh Corgis
Cardigans are the larger of the two and most noticeably have a tail. Pembrokes are generally smaller and have a docked tail (a nub).
Pembrokes are generally a little more active.
I have had 6 corgis (pembroke) in my life and they are awesome dogs. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Italian Greyhound (7 years old) She is the sweetest most loyal dog ever. Not good around kids and strangers though. She runs up sairs and hides in the bed. Litterally she digs at the blankets untill she can climb under the covers. She was very hard to potty train. Can be litter box trained also. She hates cold weather and rain and its very hard to get her outside then. Wears sweaters during the winter months. Needs lots of exercise and a big back yard to play in. But will be your best friend for life.

Out of this list I only have experience with Great Danes. They are frequently called "velcro dogs" because they bond very strongly with their people and just want to be with their families. Also, most danes are very mellow calm dogs once they outgrow puppiness - they just want to lounge on the couch with you - or on your lap if you'll let them.

Almost every breed of domestic dog has been bred for a human friendly nature. In all reality it DOES depend on the individual dog, socialization and training. If you cannot accept the fact that this is the reality of the situation then maybe you should go to sugarcoatedanswers.com where people will tell you what you want to hear.

Of all the breeds you listed the Boxer is the most affectionate. They think they are lap dogs and are very bonded to people. I had a Boxer named "Kayla" for almost 11 years. Her nickname was "Little Miss Licky-lou" because she was full of kisses and would lick everyone to death, even strangers.
I've met many Boxer's and I also have friends that have Boxer's and all are similar to my dog.

Have work with them all... over my lifetime and they are all great dogs. The personality of the dog depends on it's owner. The dog always reflects the owner.
I did own a Great Dane and loved him. He was a lap dog. Loved riding in our sports car with his sun glass and sunhat on. He stopped traffic. I don't think you could make them mean if you tried.
