Its common maybe she just does, but it might be allergies. You should check with a vet i have a border collie he scratches like crazy. We brang him to the vet and gave him medicine every day it didnt work. So you better start early and take him to the vet. Make sure he doesnt chew to much if he bites his toenail to short and it bleeds that causes exsessive bleeding which leads to death, but if that happens make sure you have starch in handy to stop the bleeding. So i think you should take her to the vet before she bites to low.

Good Luck =)

Could be allergies and might just be stress. Does she get some exercise EVERY DAY? She needs to be properly walked every day at least once and better twice. This will tire her out. My old man get a Benedryl every day for his allergies and chewing on feet.

Certain breeds will do this. My Sheba Inu mix does. She also grooms herself - much like a cat.

Has the fur around her pads been trimmed? If so then it is nothing to worry about...so long as your dog isn't staying on pavement or in a kennel for long periods of time.

Foot chewing is typically caused by allergies. Have you talked to your vet about this?
