My girlfriend and I have been dating for a mere week, yet every day I find us getting closer and closer. And I don't mean physically. On a mental and emotional level she has brought me farther than I could have ever imagined. But I'm worried if maybe this is a bad sign and that I'll just end up with a broken heart. I mean, she's moving in two months about an hour away and neither of us have gotten our license yet. At this rate, I don't think it will be easy to get over her if that does end our relationship. Should I be worried, or just go with my heart and tell my head to shut up?

I know it's pretty scary whenever you fall fast for someone you've only been dating for a little while. I am in the same situation. But its okay. I think its really admirable that you and your girlfriend have gotten higher on a emotional and mental level before physical. That is a REAL relationship, i think.
And for the whole moving thing:
It seems you really care about her and i am assuming that she really cares about you. If that is so then moving only a hour away shouldn't be a problem. If you have a connection so strong then that shall keep you two together the time you are apart, and if God planned it to happen in the first place, and he has brought you two together then, I'm sure He wouldn't split you apart, especially at the rate you are going now. But then again, no one knows God's plan. But whatever happens I just have a feeling that you and your girlfriend will always be friends, no matter how many miles are between you.

My sister was able to maintain a relationship with a guy that lived across town (and in houston that is about an hour and 1/2 drive away). At the time she didn't have a license and he didn't have a car. They were able to maintain this relationship for about two years. Now in the end they broke up, but now she is married, happy, with a new baby in the house. So things typically get better. I was seperated from my boyfriend of a year and 1/2 when I moved from Houston to Vegas. It was hard and tough, emotional and physically. We were apart for three months. When we met back up our relationship was stronger then ever. I'm not saying everyone experiences the same thing. You have to have a strong relationship to be willing to commit to begin with. Talk to her.

I believe it is fine to be falling like you are, sometimes you just can't help it right? Just be realistic about it. If there will be a deadline to your relationship, make sure to keep that in mind so you wont be completely shellshocked when the deadline comes and she must leave. It IS only an hour away, but i can feel for you with the license problem. I'm in the same situation with that haha. But hey, there's a future goal, get your license as soon as possible!!
So basically, just be careful with your feelings, let yourself fall as hard as your willing to with the realistic thought that this girl will be leaving and that could be the deadline to your realtionship. In the meantime, if you're still caring about her as much as you are now, make the most of the time you have left! :-] good luck!

It entirely depends on whether you will be able to continue seeing each other at all. I'm not sure why you even started this relationship if you knew it could end in a couple of months. It sounds as if by that time you will become so attached that you will have a very rough time getting over it. Cut your losses, if there is no hope to see each other in the future, cool it off now.

you should tell her all this and discuss it with her. it'll be very sweet. try to get your license asap and there are other forms of transportation. maybe your friends can give you a lift or there are trains, buses, and etc. good luck.
