Let your friend rehash her loss and be sympathetic, but don't let her dwell on it so that it becomes her only topic of conversation. After she has vented for a few minutes, suggest doing something more fun. Get her out to participate in activities with friends. When you are enjoying yourself it is really hard to keep your mind on grieving over lost love.

try not having that 'she cant' attitude (i know sometimes its not intentional at all)..
support her and keep a sympathetic un-biased ear open and that alone should make her feel a little better..
these things dont just happen, they take time..
try to be patient and caring like you would want her to if you were in need ;p great friends are an amazing pick-me-up anytime! ^.^
show her a good time as much as possible.. this will keep her mind on positive fun things and make her remember that life is still great!!

Take her out and show her a good time. All you can do is be a friend and supportive. Don't try to hook her up with anyone or let her go on a dunken spree!

Just be there for her. Sometimes it can take awhile to get over someone but eventually it will happen. The best thing you can do is to be a shoulder for her to lean on.

make sure you give her a friendly reminder as to what kind of a bad guy the ex was...we always tend to forget the bad and cherish the good when feeling the pain of seperation...a quick reminder could get her to turn and see things more clearly.

This will take some time to get over because it is prpobly happen offer to her but she will be alright once she get over him.

talk to her in person tell her it wont be easy but in the long run she'll move on and wil find better guys that will treat her and love her like she is supposed to be..... its the guys loss. dont stress over it shes young and pretty.

Time will take care of this mess. You should just be there for her as much as you can. But, honestly until she is ready to let go no one can help her. You can't help someone who can't help themself.
