That doesn't sound like love or caring. People who love each other aren't going to "push buttons." Rather, they will treat each other with respect and consideration for their feelings.

Love and care? Pressing buttons, by no means do the two
go together. Pressing buttons are to get your goat and nothing more, it's a cheap shot, below the belt, so to speak.

People press your buttons because it is an easy way to get you to lose control. When you lose control, they think that they have won I suppose, but it really means that both parties lose. When people push my buttons they usually find out that they should have pulled my chain. Most of my buttons aren't connected anymore!

It is too much work for me to go into the labyrinth of the mind of a hypothetical person. Should I merely assume the person is competent or moronically and incompetently experimental? If I react negatively I could say why and if positively then am I paranoid or glad they pushed the positive button?
The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

No they don't show love and care, to the contrary.
It is agressing, but if you really can turn it into a joke on them.
You let it go for now, but you sting them later at the right moment and the right timing, then it'll itch as you intended it and you'll have your laught, no revenge, plus for them a lesson!!!
I want to add that our buttons are more sensitive when we're tired, have a lot to do, you know, situations where we don't want to handle stupidities... Take care!

Grrrrrrrrr yes I do......I`m never sure if we just give it a different title when its pleasant or not, when we love someone we want them to feel good and be happy. I always think of pushin` buttons to be a horrid thing and it brings out the worst in me. I often feel if I give a huge growl they won`t try it again. It can back fire for me sometimes but that is life.

There is a difference about playing teasing and pushing buttons. Most people I know who push others' buttons are just a**es who love to see drama unfold.

TO BE HONEST, RENA.
What really IRRITATES ME, is people who are ony making ungrounded opinion. In relation to matters that, they only know the "Public Opinion" of.
In other words, they have no real PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE of the subject, at hand and are. Only sounding off, because they get some abtuse pleasure from Sounding Off.
Personally I don't care, one iota, about what they think of me. I am only seeking some knowledge from an Unexplored Quarter.

Hey Rena, My husband loves to push my buttons, he says it's cute to see me all rattled, but he's the only one that can and live to tell about it LOL, that's a joke! my buttons are worn out these days, I am harmless! women usually don't purposely push other womens buttons unless it's at a job and they get competitive, but some men do it just to do it and get a reaction out of a woman, jokingly and it's pretty obvious, but some men do it to get out of a relationship, like an excuse they get you fired up and then say....see ya! like it's all your fault, I know this one it's happened before.

I think that people who sincerely love and care for you accept
you for who you are as a person and would never think of
upsetting you that way. There are people that have to be
right all the time and can only do so by putting you in some
kind of defensive position so they can have the control.
Get rid of them.
