You do need to have some finger foods especially since you are having drinks. Pigs in a blanket Party mix Pimento cheese sandwiches Cocktail meatballs These are all easy and quick to prepare. For the meatballs, if you have a Sam's Club or WalMart just go there and buy a couple bags of the fully cooked cocktail or regular meatballs. Then, for each bag of meatballs, mix a jar of chili sauce (found in the ketchup section made by Heinz) and a jar of grape jelly. Put the meatballs and mixture in a crockpot and allow to cook on low for about 6 hours or high for 3 hours. Check out the Chex website or Food Network websites for the party mix recipe. You can make it up early and store so that you have one less thing to do Saturday. Finally, is anyone coming to the party who could bring some type of munchy to help you out. If so, get them to make some type of finger sandwiches like pimento cheese or cream cheese.

I'd go with the stuffed mushrooms and some bacon wrapped water chestnuts. Oh, they are soooooo good! And VERY easy. If you buy a goumet salsa, (you know, the more expensive ones, usually in the Deli area) and serve with white tortilla chips, that always goes over well. You could also make a homemade cheeseball, these are very tasty AND easy as well. Meatballs that you buy pre-frozen and put in the crockpot with a jar of chilli sauce and an equal size jar of grape jelly. Mix sauce in crockpot first, then add meatballs and simmer for a couple hours. The possibilities are endless.

Since it around supper time you need to look at heavy appetizers , pigs in blanket, lumpia, meatballs, wings - all of which you can buy from sams. they also have a spinach dip that is as good as you can make and just get Hawaiian bread to go along with it. cheese and fruit and vegetable tray to balance it out. Don't forget a few sweets like brownies, cookie bars or lemon bars - all have mixes easy to make. Presentation is everything so be sure to raise the levels by placing boxes or books cover by tablecloth under platters.

Bite-sized sandwiches.

Or, if you want to get really crazy, order a party platter from Subway!

Chips and dip is always good, or even little smokies!
