I'm on a dating site. I got an email from a lady who was interested in me and wanted to know the same. After viewing her profile I said i did and we stared exchanging emails. She wanted to meet the same day, but i had to work and could not. We both agreed that later after the new year would be good. So I sent her an email wanting to know if she wanted to talk a little before we met. Like on IM, phone call, texting whatever worked. I've got no response from her and haven't heard anything since. Did I do something wrong???

No, you didn't do anything wrong. Her lack of response tells me that she was just interested in a 'quickie' rather than laying the foundation of a friendship that could turn into a relationship. Don't sweat it, and move on.

What I've found with the dating sites is folks are interested but quickly lose interest. They may not even lose interest they are testing the waters.
Just expect it.
