I weigh around like 170, I am very solid and thick. I want to be between like 130-140.

*Will I have a lot of skin if I lost that much weight?
* Is 1 hour of cardio and 100 sit-ups enough? (Like 3-5 times a week)
* Will water help me lose weight?
* Will water help my skin and hair?
*How can I stop being tempted by bad foods?

Thanks

Water is the best thing for you. Drinking the recommended amount of water everyday can boost your metabolism up to 3%, which makes a difference when you are trying to lose weight. I doubt you would have alot of excess skin with that amount of weightloss. Toning up will prevent that, and water is great with making the skin elastic. Eating all the fruits and vegetables you actually should, will leave you so full it makes it difficult to even consider bad foods. Just remember, if you are tempted by something, and you fail to contain it, don't let your guilt stop you from trying again. Guilt is the killer of diets.

The way I lost weight was ate grits or oatmeal in the morning, apple/fruit for a snack, 1 tv dinner for lunch, fruit for a snack, and another tv dinner at 6 pm. you can have a apple after that but no more food/food after 6 pm. Only drink water... I did this exact diet and lost 30 lbs in one month..(this was my results when I was in school). I recently tried it again and lost 20 lbs in a month. I just bought the bounquet dinners at walmart for about 1.00 or so but you can get whatever kind of tv dinner meal you want. When I was in school, I did NO excerise but when I recently did this diet, I bought the biggest loser excerise video... I really like that video. I think once you see how you look and feel, bad foods wont be so tempting. Change the way you and your family eat and it should be easier. Hope that helps **For safety reasons, always check with your doctor to see if this is a healthy diet for you**

lLosing 40 out of 170 shouldn't leave you with a lot of excess skin.
Try 30 - 45 minutes of brisk cardio six times a week, along with 3 sets each of 10 reps of pushups, situps, obliques, and crunches.
Do some weight lifting three times a week, to tone and build muscle [ which uses up more calories! ]
Drinking 1/2 gallon of water a day will flush out a lot of any toxins, and definitely helps my skin and hair!
Avoid all fried, fast, and junk foods - even diet junk foods.
Buy tiny [ bite size ] portions of your favorite treats - eat one right after dinner, as reward for being 'good' all day.
Good luck!
