Think about other people

I think there is a misconception in this world about being self centered. There's nothing wrong with thinking about ourselves and our own world. Afterall, we are the only ones that have to live in our own little worlds. Now the problem comes in when we are rude and downright unconcerned about others. There is a way to focus on both ourselves and others. You're not doing anything wrong.

Not at all. If you don't, who will?

I'm an altruist; why else would I be here answering questions? Ok, so I like my opinion too and everyone should have a copy ;o) So I'm a little selfish too.
We all need to be selfish to some degree or other or we go under. As long as it's not bothering the neighbour or the nation, do your thing.

No, it's never wrong to think ofy ourself when it comes to sorting out problems. Those who say "there's worse things in the word" are not telling you to turn away from your problems, but to see them as perhaps not as monumental as you may make them.

Always take care of your personal demons before others. This makes you the best you can be. THEN you will be able to tackle those 'worse' things.

It's natural to think of yourself. It's not being selfish....however you are right to think that there are worse things out there. There are. However it's only human nature to think of self-well being. Just don't let it get too bad to where that's ALL you concern yourself with. Keep an open mind.

It is not wrong, you must come first,...you must take care of your temple, and your mind and be healthy...all of the other things will come later, and to those who don't understand, well they just might find themselves in your shoes some day, and then they might understand..right now, they just don't see it...Take care of you, so you can be your very best to others! God Bless you and have a Happy and Joyus New Year
