he was only 18 but in mexico that's the drinking age...what can our school do to punish him or can we because in our permishion slips it said nothing of drinking...??

I seriously hope you're not a teacher and just the kid that got busted drinking. Anyways, most schools have a policy stating all school events are alcohol and drug free. Since the trip required a permission slip, it's still a school event even though it's in a foreign country and therefore all the school event rules apply.

#1 - Yeh, if you're really a teacher then I'm Abraham Lincoln. Your spelling and grammar are HORRIBLE, no teacher would have such poor communication skills.
#2 - Sounds like you're a student (who probably wont be graduating any time soon with that poor grammar) and you're trying to get one of your teachers in trouble. Just stop!

Did you get your teaching credentials in a box of Cracker Jacks? Based on all of the spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors in your question, you could not have graduated from the 6th grade!

I dont believe school district rules are intended to punish anyone. You are in a position to educate. So I would just have a conference with the child, parents and a school counselor and bring awareness to the individual as a form of education.

Look into the school guideline handbook. Most of them prohibit drinking on school grounds or while part of any school sponsored event. And seriously hit the check spelling before you sent your questions out.

- but to answer you question its a shool do what you want if you told them no drinking them he should have a meeting with staff of the school and his parents... but if you did'nt say no drinking them i feel thats on the school yall should of layed out the rule
