Any ideas on how to ship a frosted cake?

Freeze it. put icing on the cake board before you put the cake on. This will help keep the cake from sliding. freeze the cake. When the cake is frozen wrap it loosely in saran wrap. Then put it back in the freezer. You can get a cake box from th party store and then go to the Fed Ex shipping store and they will ship it for you.
