I'm not afraid to die. I've come close more than once, and I don't regret it, nor will I ever.
In some ways, I guess I welcome death.
There's one thing that death and life support have in common: With both, you die in such a way that you're not suffering anymore.
I don't fear death.
I just fear what I'll leave behind.

I am an atheist. I have a condition which carries a probability of less than 15% that I will survive for five years. I have had it for 25 years!!!! No doubt if I was a christian it would be hailled as a miracle and I would now be a saint.
What total hypocrassy!!!

No, although I don't actively look forward to it. Nonexistence isn't scary at all; the only part of death I'm potentially afraid of is the possibility of a painful one.
It makes me sad that The Twilight Zone has a "no atheists in foxholes" episode. I've lost a bit of respect for the series now :-(

Im not scared of dying in the slightest. I am positive where my soul is going, and I cant wait to leave this world to be with my Jesus. Im happy on earth as well, but if the Lord took me now, i would not have one problem with it. And i wouldnt worry about my husband either if i were to leave this place because i know how strong his faith is in our Lord and so, he wouild have the peace he needed and comfort, so no, i am not afraid of dying at all.

Why would you be scared to die? Are you afraid of leaving your earthly possessions behind? Every times someone dies some other person is born. We all can't live forever, where would we put everyone? So part of living is dying, and i for one am not scared when it comes, it comes. Hopefully quick and painful, but we don't always get what we want do we.

Even though I can't watch the video since I'm at work. Yes I'm scared to die. I'm also scared to take an eye drop so that's not saying much.

I'm afraid of the pain that may come with my death.
I'm not afraid of someone creeping silently up behind me and splattering my brains on whatever is in front of me. I prefer either that... or heroin overdose... nod nod nod, puke, sleep, dead Hmm, to bad I don't do heroin.
A friend went out that way though a few years back.
Who can I get to shoot me when I'm ready in this case? it needs to be a silent surprise though.

Okay, when forming a plural, yes, you add an "s" but, no apostrophe.
Anyway, I'm not afraid of dying at all. Of course, I'd rather not, but I've come to terms with the fact that I have to.

Self-preservation is probably one of our two strongest natural instincts. It's not a religious question really.
I am not afriad to *be* dead, but I am a bit nervous about the process.

NO. I believe only the physical body "dies" and that the soul never ceases to exist. "Dying" is only transcending from the physical to the spirit. New chapter, same book.
