It seems like all the fans of it are atheists. I was wondering if Christians have a religious issue with it.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's the link:

Well, I'm more-or-less an atheist [NOTA=none of the above], and I found it moderately funny, but I'd be willing to bet any Christian fundamentalist will consider it blasphemous, and probably even liberal Christians will consider it in poor taste.

But while I found it funny, I wouldn't bother buying such a book. I'm against the degeneration of the English language which is implied, even though the mocking of the Bible doesn't bother me.

Heck no - I love what I've read of it so far :-)

I love the idea of God being called the ceiling cat, in fact I see it as a 'translation' which some people might relate to more easily than a regular Bible, because it doesn't seem as 'distant' in history.

I'm maybe not what you'd call a 'run-of-the-mill' type of Christian though. I think Jesus' main message running through all his teachings was "Don't take yourself so seriously - lighten up and live life to the full!" - he'd probably like lolcats too :-)

peace

You could show it to Fred Phelps, but he would come picket your funeral and say you died from Aids and that god hates you because you are a (Fred uses a bad word here - it also starts with F)
