A guy I used to work with, used to talk to me all the time ( even if I seemed uninterested, but I was....) and would go out of his way to say hi or ask me questions ( we worked in totally different departments) about how my work was going. Do you think he was interested in me in a dating way? He never made a move or asked me out... do you think he was just being friendly? and do guys just want to talk to women even if they aren't interested in them for a girlfriend?

It's a bit hard to say, but I'm guessing he liked you, but may have been too shy to ask you out.

He is interested in you. He a guy will go out of his way just to say hi or ask you a question, then thats a sign that he likes you. He wants you but probably is to afriad that he will get rejected.

Yes there are men out there that can talk to a woman and be friends with them and not just want to "date" them. But in my experience if he's gone to SOOO much trouble to talk to you maybe he's looking to see if your interested in going out with him, if you are seek him out for once and talk to him. Tell him you hadn't seen him in a while and wanted to see how he is doing. Maybe see if you can invite him to a event your going to with some friends, that way its a comfortable situation for both of you and your not asking him for a date but your telling him you want to get to know him outside of work as well.

Go have some fun, read nice book, eat somthing you like and dont think much about the negative.

maybe he just wanted to see if you was interested in him and that was his way of trying to break the ice in the sence of you guys heading down the relatioship road
