Interesting question, made me think a bit.
To live in perfect harmony with nature, to literally walk with God and be able to see Heaven, we'd say that was someone "enlightened" in it's most perfect form.
But...
Would I know there like I know here the complicated depth of emotion in a marital relationship? Would my children and I be as close as we are, part of which is due to me worrying over them, protecting them from harm? I don't know.
You are asking if we'd desire to NOT have the knowledge of good and evil. That's one I can't answer right away, sorry.

Very interesting question...
If the "Garden of Eden" is merely a place, and we'd maintain our awareness of good versus evil, I'd hate to live there if only for the knowledge that we could do nothing but hurt that environment as we tried to actually live there and use the availible resources to build building there, etc..
Of course, it was a nudist colony when we left there, I don't know how many people would be comfortable that, and I don't know how many would be MORE comfortable that way. If God made a decision on that.. would it be an unpopular decision? People having opinions on God's choices might not turn-out too well.
Also, there's a sword that guards the entrance to the Garden of Eden so that none may pass. That can't be good either. ;)
However, a "Return to Eden" where we'd unlearn the difference between sin and no sin? That would be interesting. We'd need to lose our current memories or it would suck to be deprived of all the comforts of home.
We'd lose faith in God because then we'd have definative proof of Him, which flies in the face of organized religeons.
To put it in terms I can really understand, I'd have to restate the question to read: "If God asked for volunteers to be a part of a return to Eden, in which I'd lose everything, yet not remember losing it, would I volunteer?"
Isn't that what dying is supposed to be anyways?
Sure, sign me up, I'll try anything once.

With all those restrictions and pretty things floating around - that wouldn't half be boring. Basically people would all turn into complete psychopaths within months and then it certainly wouldn't be the garden of eden anymore.

I wouldn't because for one, I wouldn't want to be the one who got curious and the fruit off of the forbidden tree. Plus, Jesus did die for us and now by following him, we can go to heaven to experience an even greater place than Eden could have ever been.

To have a perfect nature and be restored to fellowship with God without the need for Jesus to have suffered and died?
Sure.
Unfortunately you can not turn back time and "do over". Even if you could, we would screw it up again. Better to let God fix things as He has so that we won't mess it up again.
Hope that helps.

I would not because Jesus earned us much greater gifts than those we lost in Aden
