I just got a samsung s85 camera, and I am using ni-mh batteries (new ones, on 3rd cycle charge), and the batteries only seem to last for 1 hour max, or usually under an hour it seems, they constantly keep telling me the batteries are low and it turns it self off, but will come back on for a few seconds. When I use view picture mode it says batteries are full for a bit, but when im in photo take mode it shows as full then drops down to very low quickly. Is it something wrong with the way the camera holds battery charge? Or is it the batteries fault?

You need to use GOOD batteries. I use MAHA Powerex 2700mAh AA's in a Canon A710 IS and get 350+ shots from a charge. I leave the lcd on all the time and use the flash as necessary.
