Creationists: why are chimpanzees so similar to humans?

not only do we share 95-98% of our DNA, but chimps practice warfare, use tools, communicate with sign language (they do lack vocal chords, after all) and do simple math. Doesn't that at least make you WONDER about evolution?

Grrr... what does it matter anymore... I feel how I feel and see what I see.
I have my faith and believe that there is a creator and I'm a Biology major. they also say we evolved from a tiny worthless worm out in an ocean too..

But I've never understood how a "big explosion" could cause a roundish earth with a moon.. AND why do alot of our laws represent the 10 comandments and Why do alot of us have Sundays Off??

I also feel that if people don't believe in the Bible or so, then they shouldn't Celebrate the Christian Holidays either....

Well, Just because I chose a science doesn't mean I can't be Christian( My proffessor was even Christian, and he's not the only one who is either). Even Darwin Took his words back on his Death bed.... I guess a mouse is an elephant too since they have similar bone structures as well.. and the same thing with the parrot and vocal chordes... I guess people who think like, talk, or act similar to me are me?? Or maybe dogs and cats are the same because they have fur, four legs and a tail....

Because we eternal spirit souls are evolving from one body to another. After going through the 8,400,000 species of life (aquatics, plants, bugs, birds reptiles animals we come to the human form of life. It is said in the ancient Vedic literature that in general the last form before taking human birth is either of the apes or monkey species or cows or domesticated animals such as dogs and cats. Then one takes the human form and is able to then question their existence and inquire about the absolute truth. If a human being misuses this rare opportunity of human existence and does not inquire and come closer to the Absolute Truth then they Will again at the end of this body have to take birth in a lower species of life according to their consciousness. This is the laws of material nature. It is evolution of the soul not that the bodies are evolving. Darwin's theory has been proven wrong even by the scientists. Read Forbidden Archeology and The Hidden History of the Human race. by Michael A. Cremo Has heaps of archaeological findings that humans where way more advanced millions of years ago in every way. And they didn't look like apes or monkeys.

Because God has a good sense of humor. God put animals hear for us. Every animal serves some purpose. every animal is different. Some make you wonder in ahh. Some make you laugh. Some fill your stomach. God intended our lives to be rich and full of variety. Animals and humans are all mortal beings made of substances similar in molecular structure one way or another. We will all die so use what God gave ya and stop wondering about stupid things like evolution. Evolution is not proved. The Bible is. In fact, Evolution in all aspects has been disproved. The Bible has never been disproved.

P.S. Can anybody tell me what is so boring about the Bible. The best stories you'll ever hear are in the Bible. Why is everyone so so afraid of believing in God? Is it because you would have to admit you're wrong about things? I know, I would like to be God too, but I admit I'm not. That's what makes me stronger. I don't know everything. If I knew everything there would be no surprises, no wonder, no thrill. I think the real reason God let us know he is there at all is so we wouldn't waste our time wondering why everything is hear, and just be thankful it is. Stop wasting precious time and start using it. We only have so much right. God doesn't want you to worry. God is not the creator of fear. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I am a creationist and it does not make me "wonder" as you say. All life on this planet is similar, and share the same carbon based atoms. Many animals share the same 4 limbs, two eyes, two ears, etc.
That to me suggests a "pattern" or template that an intelligence would have used in the creation of life.

What evolutionists fail to explain, is how the first life came from lifelessness. Creationists have that one covered.

Many organisms are similar because they evolved from common ancestors that solved problems like cephalization and how many limbs work for different environments, and all the other stuff that makes us what we are.

A monkey is still a monkey not a human even with all these similarities. If evolution were true why are these monkeys not turning into humans now?

Im agnostic, but if God is at all consistent in thought, then he would make some creatures the same.

We also share 84% DNA with a moth. That has no backing. Monkeys are similar because God created them that way. The difference is that we have a soul and they do not.
