Christian Universalism does not teach the existence of an eternal hell. Jesus' sacrifice is meant to save us from death and is for all. Here are some resources for anyone interested in Christian Universalism:

This is what I think about cavemen;
We do not understand the full implication of who they were, why they were here, and where they came from. Science thinks they can guess on these things, and they can. But what we are taking about are a species which as far as we know, are not currently living. Like so many other creatures that are no longer living, they are extinct.
My concern is with the current living humans, not the dead ones.

When Abraham was around, there were no books or prophets, and yet he knew about God. I don't think cavemen were ignorant of the Creator.

all we know about "cavemen" is what someone thiks they might have looked like, or the way they might have lived. if you give a "caveman" a nice hair cut, and dont put so much hair on his back, he looks about the same as everyone else. i believe the "caveman" was just a man, and not here before the word of God.

Romans 1:19,20; ' ... because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse'.

The oldest humans knew there was a God and worshipped something. The sun, the earth or whatever. Where they went is unknown.

In my opinion, anyone who was a cave dweller was intelligent and many used drawings on cave walls to express themselves and that too in itself showed intelligence;
They could talk and communicate

Your question presupposes evolutionism-- which teaches that death brought mankind. This contradicts scripture, which teaches that sin brought death.
