I'm not a dog lover so I'll pass on the animal love instead other people's joy makes my day.
The e-mail from around the world from a friend who passed her exams, the announcement of a new birth for a couple who have been trying, seeing hard work pay off, the call from my daughter every week, the gleam in my beautiful wife's eyes. Things like that.

Happiness this morning was my dog waking me up *before* he peed on the carpet. Happiness in general is the same thing as contentment to me: being with the people (and pets) that I love, working hard and doing a good job on something, a big plate of Mexican food, new pajamas.
Joy is falling in love, holding my new nephew, seeing my mother happy for the first time in years.
Peace I guess is knowing that at the end of the day I've done all I can to help someone else.

Waking up and thanking the lord for your health strength and being in your right mind and being able to see your friend and family another day know that is something that brings me happiness .and i do agree a warm puppy can make me happy.

kids , old people holding hands , when the sun is setting behind the clouds and everything looks pink , a baby monkey hanging on to its mother , a cat playing with a ball , a poem , a song , a good weepy film .....
little things can bring a lot of joy xxx

My cat makes me happy. She crawls into my lap and sits there and purrs and just wants to be petted. She loves me!!
Hot Chocolate Chip cookies straight out of the oven, still warm and gooey and a nice glass of ice cold milk brings me joy.
What brings me peace -- a nice, hot, long, bubble bath. I can relax and soak away my worries!

Yes, I agree. My cats make me happy. Jesus makes me happy, brings me joy, and gives me peace.

Having held a warm puppy, I would agree.
Happiness, joy and peace, for me, come from a sense of balance and equilibrium in life... in spirit... family.... special hobbies... work.... all of it.
Not easy to do.....
