This is not a hard question. In the bible Jesus taught his apostles to love each other. He didn't only mean to love those who loved back or those who shared the same faith or beliefs he also taught love thy neighbor as well as those who pursue [us]. In other words if these so called Christians are acting this way its reasonable to say that they are NOT Jesus' followers like they claim. It's even more sad that they acted this way in the place that is believed to be Jesus' birth place. All I can say after reading this news...Thank you Jehovah God for opening my eyes and finding the truth.

Yes, they're human beings with human emotions. The whole point of Christianity is salvation, even though we don't deserve it. The path that priests take is particularly hard; they so often have to deal with the nagging questions about faith and justice as the rest of us do, but it can really devastate them. Their celibacy is bound to have an effect on their demeanors, again, causing periodic conflicts over their normal male feelings and possible loneliness. I hope that some of their leaders help them to get back on the path, and figure out how to let go of their hatred for other priests with different beliefs.

Add to that, the part of the world they're in. Yikes! So much violence, and death and pain, and conflicting societies. At least those priests aren't carrying rifles, and have instead chosen a faith.

This is why there should not be any Churches or Religions. I am Spiritual, and read the Bible, where the only Truth is. Some Christians just don't want to read the Bible, so they go to church and have someone else do the work, the works of False Religion. The Bible is the only Truth. But that is my belief and I am not trying to say mine is better, but from what I see, I DON"T WANT Theirs. May God Bless Each and Everyone of You

Being a Christian has nothing to do with rage, road rage, violence, abuse, insanity, fighting or any other human behavior. Human beings are capable of any number of aberrant demonstrations, Christians, atheists, agnostics, Hindus, Jews, Muslims.....you name it. Religion has absolutely ZERO ZIP NADA nothing to do with it. If you're an atheist, you have an obligation to be consistent in your walk with unbelief. If religion has no relevance for you on any level, then you cannot use belief in religion to castigate people for behaving badly. You must find another reason to explain it, because, by definition, religion is irrelevant, immaterial and argumentative.

Because they are human beings with emations.

Nobody is perfect.

I'm an atheist, but even I understand that Christianity recognizes that humans can never be perfect.

Being a Christian does not insure that a person won't do something un-Christian. But if they are a true Christian, they should eventually recognize that what they did is wrong and ask forgiveness.

I have no clue as to why ANYONE would behave that way, let alone Christians or priests. Other than the fact that they're imperfect humans who gave in to their hate and anger and have not mastered the art of tolerating others with differing views and opinions.

I am a Christian myself. But as a human being i am same with everybody "NOT PERFECT".. It's sad when "some" Christians call themself as one but acts so unchristian.. Just know that everyone has their downfall and we do not have the right to judge anyone for their mistakes.. It depends on those people how they live theyre lives but sadly some just don't live it the way they preach it..

It's for God to forgive and For HIM to judge..

Many religions do not practice what they preach and fail to heed the counsel in John 13:35 - "By this all will know that YOU are my disciples, if YOU have love among yourselves.”

If any religion professing to be true Christians does not have this quality, they are not true representatives of Christ, for he had true love.

It's got nothing to do with Christianity. Trust me on this: I've been married for over 30 years, and I can tell you what the *real* problem was.

You apparently have never seen a guy forced to do housework. . .talk about your whining and temper tantrums. They put a two year old to shame!

Because some people think if you say, "In the name of Jesus," before or after an act, then you're allowed to do just about anything.

While others, like myself, try not to condemn people for sinning, because everybody does it....just some aren't brave enough to admit it.
