Extreme bias, they always will mention what supposed Christians did, yet on the other hand, conveinently leave out all the toxic elements of atheists such as including the murderous histories of Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Ceausescu, Hoxha, Kim Jong-il, etc.

There were Christians who did terrible things. There are self-proclaimed Christians who do bad things today.
There are Islamics who are evil.
There are atheists who are mean and immoral. A few here want us all killed, sterilized, tortured, etc. and have said we are worthless pieces of trash.
There are good people and bad people in all groups.
Should all Christians leave Christianity because of this? Should all atheists stop being atheist because there are bad atheists? Of course not!
What is the point of all this criticizing?

1994
"Anglican as well as Catholic priests and nuns are suspect of having actively participated in murders. Especially the conduct of a certain Catholic priest has been occupying the public mind in Rwanda's capital Kigali for months. He was minister of the church of the Holy Family and allegedly murdered Tutsis in the most brutal manner. He is reported to have accompanied marauding Hutu militia with a gun in his cowl..."
...And the conclusion to the story
"Priests get death sentence for Rwandan genocide"
Do you feel better now?

Well, why do Christians believe events that they think happened thousands and thousands of years ago?
Tit for Tat.......
And, they were responsible for witch hunts, crusades, and most wars througout history.

it is straightforward to respond to, they criticize all religions. Take the person-friendly youtuber Pat Condell. He criticizes islam and judaism alongside with christianity. the reason you do no longer hear approximately those is by means of the fact i assume you reside in a predominately christian society and that they frequently attempt to portray atheists in as destructive a mild as achieveable.

The reason it's brought up is that there should be some explanation for why those people did those things. They read the same book and have the same god you do today, why did he allow those things to happen in his name?
It's not an indictment of you, it's an indictment of the religion

Because those are valid points. Looking at the history of religion, some pretty heinous things have been done.

Because Christians use a 2000 year old book to prove that their religion is the only right one. So if you're going to use crap that's 2000 years old - why can't we?

you mean like priests and pastors molesting kids, or churches getting together to burn books, and religious wackos that murder abortion doctors?...yeah that sure was a long time ago, like months and months.
does time really make any difference when it comes to doing evil and bad things?
it's your god that sends people to hell for an INFINITE amount of time as punishment for FINITE crimes, not mine. so apparently time makes no difference to your god either.
