I just got married and am now finding it difficult to share my closet. It's a large closet, but I had it filled before. I moved some stuff out so he has room, but what do I do with my things. I got rid of the clothes i don't use, but i still have alot. Any organization ideas??? I tried using the guest room closet, but then i need to move everything out when my parents visit.

I ran into the same problem. We went to Lowes/Home depot and got another rod to put under the permanent one to hang clothes on. For ours, we had to get a 2x4 to nail into the studs in the wall for support. goodluck

Use the guest room closet for out of season clothes, leaving enough room for visitors.
Hang an extra rod halfway up for shirts/blouses.
Use a multiple hanger for pants/skirts.
Get shelf dividers for closet, and store handbags, hats/scarves/gloves, old Tshirts, sweaters up there.
Get shoeracks for each of you.
Throw away or donate anything you haven't worn in a year.

Here is one way. Type closet organization ideas in your browser and it will come up with lots of sites to look at for ideas. Compare prices as well as materials to select what will work best for you. I just got some additional shelving at Home Depot to utilize more of my closets. Good luck.
