They are probably teething.
Put tin foil around the plants you want to keep them out of. Buy a squirt bottle and squirt them with water when you catch them doing something bad. Use double sided tape on the furniture they are scratching until they stop scratching.
This phase will subside. :) You can also buy a bitter tasting substance at the pet store to put on your wires. It's important to keep them from chewing wires!
They will calm down as time goes on. :) Good luck! :)

OK you are turning these kitties into neurotics. They are only playing like kids do, how would kids grow up if they got SHOUTED at all the time for playing? They DON'T know they have done bad, they just know you are not nice to them for no reason (that's how they see it).
All kittens are like that. You have to put your sweaters away, and keep things out of reach, and distract them with something they are allowed when they get hold of something they are not allowed, just like children. They will not chill out until they are about 2 years old, until then they will run about like mad things and then flop down and sleep. If you can't take this, you need to find them another home right now. For dangerous play, like chewing electric wire, smear some Tabasco sauce on things they chew, that will stop them. Please stop shouting at them, they don't understand why and you are making them worse by doing it.
And people who have cats declawed should have their own fingernails pulled out.

They're probably teething, and it will be very hard to keep them from chewing until the teething phase passes.
I had a time teaching my cats to not chew on cords- but they got tired of me yelling at them and swatting them when they tried. So they eventually stopped.
You're going to have to kitten-proof your house if you can: Run your cords through sections of PVC pipe, don't live strings and clothes laying around, and consider putting your plants in cages where the cats can't get at them.
Good luck!

For your cords wal-mart sells these tubes that will protect them from chewing on them, my cat loves to chew on blinds. When I studied to be a vet tech the book said to put petroleum jelly on them, I personally think it would get a little messy. But you never know it could work. When they chew on your plants try buying them cat grass. It was made for cats to eat. And just move your plants some place that would be safer, also make sure that your plants won't hurt your cats.

A scratching post is helpful and for anything that you really want to protect you can put a light spray of a bitter apple animal spray that usually keeps animals away from chewing on the item. We use to have a looped ear rabbit that liked to chew on the light cords...luckily, the one he chewed through was on a timer and not energized. One spray of the bitter apple, and the chewing on things in the house stopped. (yes, we allowed him in the house and he was potty trained...they make great pets).

does this only happen when your not in the house? if so try confining them to a small area, of which they cant chew up something precious or expensive to you, then after a few days, put them back to where you used to and if they chew something, take them back to the object they destroyed and say 'no' then confine them again. it should work, if it doesnt confine them and do not let them out when you are not in the house.

there is a spray that you can get at the pet shop that you can put on the things that they are chewing on. It's supposed to be really gross to them, but odorless to you. I don't know the name of it, but I'm sure that if you went to the pet store and asked they might know. Good Luck!

we have three of them.
A squirt bottle full of water. Anytime they do something bad: chew, claw, etc, a few squirts will stop them cold. Eventually they will stop the bad behavior.
Dont soak them, just a few squirts to discourage the bad behavior.
