I understand dying for allah and the prophet and all of that. But can anyone tell me what justification these guys have in their mind when the walk into a crowd, sometimes in their own home town, and blow up themselves and others, often times women and small children. They must feel they are going to allah for this, but how do they figure that?

Please don't give me the analogies about us dropping bombs. Bombing what you are told is a military target is a far cry from walking into a crowd of women and children and detonating a nail bomb, when you know dam well it is NOT military target in any sense. And I am not blaming all muslims. I am trying to learn what these people are thinking in terms of why this would lead them to heaven.

Muslims believe that it is worthy to die fighting the enemies of Islam, some Muslims consider Israel, USA and England as anti-Islamic, of course the big majority of Muslims disagree with the murderous act of self detonating in a place where you can kill innocent civilians and bystanders.

they believe they are ridding the world of 'evil' people and the also believe that is what the Quran told them to do. However this is wrong, there is no justification, it is the same as murdering innocent people.

Simply there isn't. These are people who are brainwached since a young age, raised for that purpose.
Also i think poverty and frustration is one of the reasons, Too bad they think they are doing something good, while actually theye are really really wrong. Hope allah guide them and us all.

Murder, Suicide, and Illicit Gains Prohibited

[4:29] O you who believe, do not consume each others' properties illicitly - only mutually acceptable transactions are permitted. You shall not kill yourselves. GOD is Merciful towards you.

[4:30] Anyone who commits these transgressions, maliciously and deliberately, we will condemn him to Hell. This is easy for GOD to do.

[4:31] If you refrain from committing the gross sins that are prohibited for you, we will remit your sins, and admit you an honorable admittance.

They don't. I talked to an Irani teacher who is employeed at my college about this. He said they've been deceived/tricked by Osama because the Quran says anyone who commits suicide goes to hell. And that their Jihad is not sanctioned by Sharia law so their murders aren't justifyed in their religion either.

Looks like they're just going to hell...

To answer your question I must ask a one of my own:

What in The Christian "Bible" allows a Church to persecute and lable one a Heritic and condemn them to the stake?

The answer is Ignorance and nothing within the works of the Quran or "Bible"...

There is a time for ignorance and a time for truth and the truth draws near.

How does a Christian figure they are saved while dropping bombs from airplanes on civilians? It's the same mindset in both.

Something about 72 virgins, and having in death what cannot be had in life. Don't you think that peace on earth is the motive, or do you think that they are fixated on piece in heaven?
