The coming into the earth has been and is, for the evolution or evolving of the soul unto its awareness.

I absolutely do. Only self-centered people who are convinced and are determined to convince others that humans are in charge believe that we are here for our own purpose. We as humans are not skilled to decide what is right for ourselves, we're too focused on what we want. Only when you take a step back and let God work in your life and show you what is best for you can you fulfill your purpose for Him.

Just hope his purpose for you isn't to spend your life in Brasil digging through garbage piles to feed your kids or to have an extended bout with a terrible disease before you finally die after leaving your family in financial ruin. That would suck.

We were created for His pleasure and not ours. Revelation 4:11. It is really all about God and not man. God is preparing us for eternal life with Him. God loves us too much to not prepare us for eternal life. When we are disciplined by God we are to count it all joy, because Christ disciplines those He loves.

Yes, we are put on this earth for God's purpose and not ours.
Self-centered, egotistical man thinks it is about him. Without God we are nothing.

Assuming you mean the Biblical god, I do, and I absolutely abhor his purpose for mankind.

I would imagine that if God existed and wanted us to do something; He should have said something... and a book 2000 years before I was born doesn't count...

I wasn't "put" on earth. I was born. And God wasn't at all involved in my conception or my life, believe me.

That is true, but His goal is my happiness. So it kind of turns around all by itself. The only way I can get happiness is to try to make others happy. (That is what "In His Image" means)

The Bible says that we were created
to have relationship with HIM.
We can have relationship with HIM
by accepting HIS Son, JESUS,
as our Lord and Savior...
