I don't believe Satan, or any other "evil" force is behind it, but I do very much believe that they're horrible, to a certain extent.
A glass of Coke, or Pepsi every now and then, is perfectly fine.
But fast food? EW! I can't stand it, and those who consume it disgust me.
Personally, I don't eat fast food, meat, or most sweets. I also consume very little dairy. I prefer Glaceau or similar things in the place of sodas.
I just can't stand the unhealthy crap.

Not every problem is the spawn of Satan. The food isn't evil, its all in how you consume it. The problem is the modern urban lifestyle more than anything. People eat a weird hours, people have sedentary jobs and people are under alot of stress. All this adds up to obesity. Humans are programed to seek out and eat fatty, salty or sweet foods. Back in the day those essential foods were in very short supply. So we over indulge. Its a matter of education more than anything else. Just like the government did with smoking.

Not at all why should,nt people be allowed to enjoy Coke, Pepsi and fast food as long as you eat or drink it occasionally within a healthy diet which includes exercise, the problem is when people don't eat healthily and don't exercise is when obesity sets in

I think those things are tempting.
There are many temptations in the world and I am sure that Satan wouldn't turn down an opportunity to dangle a cupcake in front of our noses if there would be dire consequences in it for us.
:-)
But it says in the New Testament that we can eat anything -- that nothing is bad -- because God made everything. Just as long as you thank God for it and ask for a blessing over it.
Also we are to take everything in moderation.
So, a lot of the problem is our own gluttony

Well, some fundamentalist would say - "The Devil works in the most deceiving ways, The Devil can be found in the most unexpected places". So maybe that includes, the large advertisements we see on road intersections, the food we drink, The highest places in government and church.
So yea, you drink coke, you become fat and then evil is within you. LOL
But remember God is supposedly everywhere so that's like complicate things.

Thats what i'm starting to think. Double triple thick monster burger with 5 strips of bacon and bacon bits, 3 slices of cheese and all the fixing, that does sound like some evil advertisement. Its also suspicious that the food thats bad for us is so cheap and affordable, but the good stuff, the healthy food, the stuff our bodies actually need is so expensive.

People eat too much.
The food/drink itself is not the work of the devil.
Kids don't exercise and play outside anymore. They sit at the computer or play video games.

No. Why blame Satan for everything bad? Didn't Adam and Eve eat the fruit of knowledge? Aren't we supposed to be smarter than monkeys?

All things in moderation and the tubbys would have no problem, no matter what they ate. We have free will, so obesity is a personal decision, not Satan's handiwork.
