I'm curious if there is a way to keep the comments of a cell even when pasting new data into that cell. It seems like when a paste the comments are wiped out. I'm looking for a way to provide instructions on an excel sheet and still be able to paste into all cells (Crtl-A - Copy from one sheet, Ctrl-A - Paste in another).

i didnt check the help file, but i will take a guess.
when you ctrl-A to choose all, you get all.

you can try right clicking on your new sheet and paste special...
then choose formulas to reset the formulas
then do it again except this time choose formatting to reset any formatting.

there may be a faster way.
