Yes...
For the 19th time (18th if you don't count atheists' questions) IT IS A RELIGION, I admit it. Leave me alone. Not having faith is definately a religion, you got me with your clever logic, congrats.
I'll just go back to not-collecting-stamps... It's such a time consuming hobby... with all the not filing and trading..

Atheism isn't a religion.
Atheists don't believe in deities.
Some atheists claim that one of the things that demonstrates that atheism is not a religion is the fact that atheists do not believe in deities.
What part could be fallacious?
You've pretty much got true, true, and true there.

We did. You didn't write clearly.

They have no deities. That is undeniable. Atheism is the belief there is no God.
While certainly not a religion the question is, is it a belief system or a philosophy - or just a state of mind. Since there is no categorical evidence God does not exist (there's only circumstantial evidence) then I believe atheism is a belief system, albeit totally different from Christianity, Islam etc.

Atheism is not a religion because it doesn't fulfill the definition of a religion.
Main Entry: re·li·gion
Etymology: Middle English religioun, from Anglo-French religiun, Latin religion-, religio supernatural constraint, sanction, religious practice, perhaps from religare to restrain, tie back
Date: 13th century
1 a: the state of a religious b (1): the service and worship of God or the supernatural (2): commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance
Main Entry: re·li·gious
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French religius, from Latin religiosus, from religio
Date: 13th century
1: relating to or manifesting faithful devotion to an acknowledged ultimate reality or deity
Even leaving out the deity aspects of the definitions of "religion," it is obvious that atheism is not one. There is no worship, no constrained ritual, no commitment or devotion to ritual observance. Atheism is a lack of beliefs in deities, and it is absolutely no more than that.

You are wrong. Atheists do not ALWAYS make this claim, as I for one do not. If you think that atheism is a religion, then you do not know what religion is.

Why is there such total ignorance about a simple definition? Is it because Christians are so terrified of atheists?
Atheists simply do not believe in a god - not just the christian god but any god. What you in your ignorance fail to realize is that, that means they can worship and follow any belief that does not have a god!!
You are making the simple (very simple) mistake of believing anyone who does not believe as you do must be against you!!!
If your faith was true and strong why would you be so afraid?!!!!!
