My boyfriend (of almost a year) is always saying how the horoscope in the paper is usually right on for him. So I was looking through the paper today and saw to horoscopes, so I read them.

Here is what his said:

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20): It is important to bring structure or to establish purpose in a close relationship. Consider making a commitment that involves vows.

We've talked about getting married but because we work together we both know that it wouldn't work right now. Would it totally freak him out if I mentioned it to him???

If you already talked about it and decided not to get married based off of sound reason, i'd avoid bringing speculation (really, superstition) into the matter. This would only cause needless confusion and frustration. On the other hand, if your true desire is to get married soon, talk to him about it without using the horoscope as a smokescreen to mask your true feelings. Let him know how you feel. Hope this helps. Take care!

Well...I wouldn't say "hey, the horoscope says we should get married! Where's my ring?"

But, since you have discussed the idea before, it shouldn't be a total shock to mention the horoscope to him. If you are still concerned that it will be too much pressure and freak him out, you may want to preface the whole conversation by downplaying the timing.

I would say let him think about it on his own. If he reads the paper that much and he pays attention to his horoscope, he will see it and read it and think about it and maybe he will bring it up to you. You don't want to seem like you are dropping hints or pushing him to do anything he isn't sure of or has thought about doing.

No ALL horoscope are the same, read another and you'll see what the horoscope said. Then if you talked about and you both aggreed that it wouldn't work, then most likely wouldn't work.

I don't know. It depends.
If I were you I would casually mention it to him. " Honey what do you think it would be weird if the horoscopes wanted us to get married? I think it might be a little crazy."

But if I were you (i'm not of course) I would tell him about what the horoscope said.

It would for me! How about just leave the paper out where he can see it and bring up Horoscopes again then ask if he's checked it today (As if you've not seen it...). Then watch his face as he reads it!

If you've decided not to get married for now, there doesn't seem to be much point in raising the subject. On the other hand I don't understand why he would be upset if you asked him about marriage. It would be a great compliment and a sign that you take him seriously.

I'm freaked out right now, jk

well, horoscopes are supposed to happen and will in some way whether you read it or not. so if it's time, it's time.
but it's just a horoscope.

You should do it. Sounds like a great idea. Afterall, the horoscope would never mislead you.

You should surprise him and propose to him right away.

Good luck and be sure to let us all know how that works for you.
