Fight a superior enemy force out in the fields and in the open, and you're pretty much doomed - they'll have more versatility and greater firepower and support at their disposal. In an urban environment, everything is close up and the effective range of a weapon is a moot point. You'll want something accurate within a hundred meters that can punch through armor - many AK series weapons are locally made in the US and 7.62x39mm rounds readily available.

It is now illegal to convert a simi to full auto. You can buy a full auto , if you can pass federal firearms license checks. They are not cheap, about 1500.oo to 2000.oo dollars. The licence fee is a one time thing for you and must be carried out through a class III dealer for a 200.oo dollar fee. If sold again, the next buyer has to go through the same process.Transfer of a class 3 weapon is illegal any other way except to a class 3 dealer.Check with your local ATF office for licenced dealers in your area.

You're a moron, but if you have a drimil tool it can be done in 30 seconds or less. If done correctly, you will have a full auto only weapon. If done incorrectly, you will have a weapon that will fire full auto until it runs out of ammunition or jams weather you're still holding it and pulling the trigger or not. Doing something like this is a particularly STUPID way to destroy a perfectly good AK.....

You can own a full automatic weapon, but you must have a special license for each one, and of course, each must be registered. Used to run about $200 each, to be renewed every year.To have one without proper permits is a big time felony.

It is illegal and you don't have the correct parts to do it but who needs to have it full auto? It's not an AK-47 unless it is full auto so what you have is a Mac-90 and if you know how to do it like I do, you can fire it full auto even though it's a semi auto. It takes a lot of practice but it's easy once you know how.

AK-47s are built fully auto. To be sold or even owned int his county, they must ahve this feature disabled. It is usually a part this is either removed, changed out, or altered. Changing it back is not easy, and to do so would be expensive, and most of all, highly illegal.

If you're truly determined to do it I suppose you'll figure it out but I'm not going to tell you how to commit a felony.

While full auto weapons are legal (and tightly regulated), under current law we're limited to the ones that currently exist. You may NOT convert any semi-auto to full auto legally.
