No.
Just like the "perfect" Christian, who should live their lives by example (thereby bringing more people to christ) they should not be vitriolic about it shoving it down people throats, you should also set an example of tolerance.
If you live your life as an example of a good person, honest and trustworthy while not hiding - but not pushing - your non-beliefs, you will do more to sway the people around you who are caught up in the religious hype and clouded thinking that, there are alternatives to ignorance.
If/when you can converse in civil tones with clear thoughts and logic to those who still believe the mythologies of people from 2000 years ago. You will do far more good for yourself, and others.
Enjoy the season. Yeah, the music sucks - but only for a few weeks each year.
The idea of prayer, in my opinion, is not corrupting or "evil" but , it just doesn't really work and isn't based on reality. But Santa Clause fits the same description, and I don't this this myth hurts anyone either. When people pray, offer to lead the prayer and ask for enlightenment and world peace - nothing wrong with that, it's a nice idea.

I find the bombardment of christian slogans and imagery a little taxing considering that this time of year was not originally a christian festival, but it doesn't offend me. In a way I'm happy for them that they have found a faith that works for them.

Oh, darn, the question you linked to has been removed. Can you recap it for me?
No, you shouldn't be offended by others' beliefs and traditions, so long as they don't cause these people to encroach on your happiness or alter your life. That's just part of living in a global society.

I would whine and holler "Help, I'm being oppressed" from the nearest street corner.
That's what I've noticed members from some religions doing (not pointing any fingers, but looking at you Christians)

I'm not Xian either, but I didn't see any reason to take offense when all these things happened to me, too.
I'm betting you're trying to make a point with a "sauce for the goose" comparison, but the question in your link has been deleted.

How sad that you feel that signs in store windows and people saying a prayer are aimed at your face. Do you not feel that some of these people are aiming to celebrate their God and not having anything against you? If you are continually irritated by these acts, you might want to get professional help. People will continue to believe in God...His worship is here to stay...Please get help so that you can stay here in peace.

No. I am not religious either, but it is the reason for the season. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas, I'm sure the PC people will get rid of it soon enough.

Everybody has different beliefs. It's about respect. Let them have their celebrations. It doesn't mean you have to partake in them. If everybody was the same and believed the same thing this world would be absolutely dull. I think there needs to be a balance of the different beliefs in the world without hate and ignorance.
My friends are all different beliefs and I love learning about why they believe what they do without judgement. They are my friends and are precious to me no matter what they believe in.

Where's the offense? Who's pushing what? It's called freedom, the freedom to worship as one pleases. If you are offended by religious freedom then move to an atheist godless society, like communist Russia or China and see how you like that.

Many claim to be what they are not. I like the Way of the Warrior. Just because someone says something, doesn't mean it is True. So if you are really comfortable with yourself as you are. Anything short of outright harassment, doesn't worry you.
