Poor guy! I don't know what it is, but have you tried omitting all peppers, tomatoes, and potatoes? I know a few people with arthritis who have been helped by this. Also, how about homeopathic Rhus Tox or Arnica? These are both very basic remedies which should be available at any health food store. I would really think about food allergies and would consider seeing someone who does NAET if possible. The other thing that sometimes helps with this sort of thing is taking a good probiotic, assuming the md 's have ruled out any infectious disease (Lymes disease, etc.) and it may be autoimmune. I would look to other doctors. There are MD's who are open to alternative practices, and there are some very good alternative practioners out there, as a massage therapist, you probably have some good contacts. Good Luck!

get a slleepeasy one with memory foam - we got one and it has made a real difference
if you are in the uk and can get a letter from your doctor d stating that ir is necessary for medical reasons you will be able to claim the VAT back on it - any good bed store will tell you how - and they have to do so legally if you have the letter

Kenneth , buy the best and most expensive bed you can with orthopaedic recommendations.
I did over ten years ago and never regretted the £1,000 I paid. .
