I know what you are going through. If little girls are not comfortable and relaxed when trying a #2, constipation can be the result. I know your daughter would be able to relax with The Potty Stool http://www.thepottystool.com This stool makes every toilet kid-sized. My kids immediately climbed up on this stool and discovered that they could safely and securely use the toilet. This got them very interested in using the toilet and they were potty trained very quickly.
The handles and sides make all the difference! My son and daughter felt very secure and the sides makes them feel comfortable and closed in when they use the toilet.
My kids like to use what they know mommy and daddy use. And it really is wonderful having your kids independently use the toilet on their own. The best thing is children use this stool for years. Hope this helps you.

I had a similiar situation with my son but he would poop in his pants and not in the potty. At this point its trial and error on what will work for your daughter. Here's a tip:
Get a portable kids potty and set it in a comfortable place for your daughter (bedroom, bathroom, livingroom)and when its "time" for her to poop you set her on the potty and sit down beside her. maybe read her a book, or watch a favorite show on tv... this may take some time but you need to break the cycle of comfort of the diaper that has been created. If nothing happens in a 1/2 hr or so, take her off and try it again in an hour or two. When she finally goes, give her a REWARD such as a sticker, fav snack, fav drink, etc... OR maybe you can suggest that WHEN she poops in the potty you will take her to the store to pick out a new toy!
like i said, this may take some time but if you continue she may get the hang of it and just go. It might not happen in one day but don't let her go too long! You may want to give her prune juice or something to that effect just before or during the time she's on the potty to help the process. If you must, let her poop in her diaper for one time and then when she's done, take her and the poo diaper to the toilet and dump the poo into the toilet. then let your daughter help you flush. Maybe that will help! Good Luck!!!

Give her prunes, juice, and maybe even a LITTLE milk magnesia stuff in her milk and when youcan tell that she is pooping put her on the potty. Once she knows that it is ok to go poop in the potty she will start.

Give her prune juice, fiber, fruit juice, anything thats going to MAKE her poop. AT some point she's going to HAVE to go.
Dont give her dairy or cheese, or anything that will stop her up, just veggies water juice and fiber. It all has to come back out the other end.

I feel for you I went threw the exact same thing with my nine year old when I was training her!
She would hide under the table and go in her panties everytime. One day she just started going in the potty it takes alot of time and patience. She'll be ok.
Good Luck!!!

keep the underwear on, and keep asking her if she has to go.
when you think she has to go, keep asking her to go and tell her you will go in with her.
just sit next to her when shes on the toilet, and tell her to poo.
if it happens, then just congratulate her
