i've been considering a Tom DeLonge style lip peircing

first off, can you take it out and put it back in like an earring?

also, if you want to remove it permanently will it close up and heal pretty quickly?

lastly, will it become infected often?

I have my labret done and to answer your questions:
1. yes you can take it in and out but i would not recommend taking it out before it has healed because it will close up
2. If you want to remove it, it will close up and heal but like all piercings you have a small hole where you got it done,it isnt very noticeable tho
3. If you take care of it and clean it like you are supposed to, no it will not become infected

DO NOT CLEAN IT WITH PEROXIDE, They will give you a packet of salt or Bactine works really good for the outside

Hope I Helped :-)

I have the same exact one yes you could change it, not right away
yes it will heal quickly but it will leave a scar well it will look like a hole but it will be closed this piercing rarely gets infected just make sure the first month you clean its good if you get i think you should leave it in

Well, it kinda depends on what your style is, and what you look like. Yes, it is just like an earring. You can take it out, and put it back in ,whenever you wanna, except for when you first get it done of course. To keep it from getting infected, you would need to continually doctor it with alchohol or peroxide. Just to be safe. ;) Well, hope i helped!

Answer: you misspelled "piercing(s)".

Seriously, though, dude, if you think it will "become infected often", why in the world would you put yourself through that???
