I am a little miffed because you normally get the Software CD with the purchase of any Periphial, like the logitec mouse. And would you believe they also normally come with written step by step installation instructions.
In the advent you don't have either of these for whatever the reason. It is also a standard practice that when one purchases new software that one also makes a trip to the manufactures web site to make sure one has the latest updates and changes to said software in the advent one doesn't have any of that stuff.

Cordless mice usually have a transmitter that plugs into a usb slot.

The mouse itself will need batteries

To use it like a mouse usually won't need extra software - the software is built into windows XP/vista... mac....Linux etc Try it and see if it works

There may be software that lets you use special functions or extra buttons but you shiould not need it for basic mouse functions

no longer spectacular. logitech makes many good mouses, even although the acceptable are the laser mouses. the battery will very final alongside time in them, and that they are instant. in case you get one, verify to alter the batteries on an identical time as they're ineffective. i left undesirable batteries in my laser mouse, and the acid leaked, and ruined the whole mouse. they're spectacular mouses even although
