For a drywall ceiling, use a stud finder to locate the ceiling joists---usually spaced every 16 inches or two feet on center....use drywall or construction screws that are 1 1/2 inches longer than the material you're attaching. Crawl in the attic if possible to check the spacing and direction of the joists. For texture ceilings or plaster/lathe, use toggle bolt fasteners....you can poke small holes in the ceiling along the route of the board you're attaching to try to find the joists...make sure they are joists and not just the wood lathe if that's the type of ceiling you have.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com

It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

Where-ever you buy the standard doors, you can order doors to size. A bit more costly but if you can't alter the size of the standards, then there is no alternative.
