Many go with simply the notion that God has always existed and is beyond the confines of things needing to have a begining or an end.

Some believe in God, but don't believe him to be all powerful, just a presence.

Its just one of those unanswerable questions that some enjoy discussing and some can't help but turn into an argument.

Good question!

Believers in a supreme being take it on faith that the supreme being had no creator.

Non-believers ask this question in an attempt to prove there is no factual evidence for the existence of a supreme being.

Agnostics answer that they do not know the answer.

You're thinking about this in human terms, meaning that it is embedded into our minds that everything has to have a source, a beginning and an end. Those scientific rules, and all science as we know it, were created by God. God made these rules so that there wouldn't be chaos. He knew what he was doing. These things make life interesting.

something got all this going and I DO believe in basic forces of good and evil that we become aware of through our instincts but I don't believe it was any god out of the bible. the ancient jews worshipped many gods before king josiah, it's why el, elohim et al are used as god's name when in fact those were all seperate gods that were worshipped by the jews and the phonecians. the priests used the same selective editing that went into the bible at the council of nicea to decide what god's word was and the bible is a mess of contradictions.

No one created God. He is just there. now if u say why cant i see him?-there r many things u can't see in the world. one example is air. u can't see air but u have to believe it is there or u wouldn't be able to breathe.. another example is the current in the wires. u can't see the current but have to believe it there or there would be no electricity. So all winds up in if u have your own beliefs or not.

The answer to this quesation is both simple and, I assume, obvious.

God was created by the most advanced life form on our planet.

Mankind.

Try to be more original with your questions. Folks who don't believe in the supernatural enjoy a reputation of being more thoughtful, intelligent and think for themselves more than those that believe in the supernatural. Don't prove them wrong in thinking the best of us.

EDIT:
Star Girl there are more than one sense to use to identify things.
You can feel the wind, observe and feel the effects of electricity. Hear sound and smell a fart though it is not visible.
