Nothing in the Holiday stipulates that it is only for blacks.....others are free to clebrate it. however since it originated in Africa...African -Americans are going to connect with it.

This is an excellent question, and one that mature Christians have perhaps pondered seriously or merely wondered about casually. As of December 2007, the publications of Jehovah's Witnesses have not seemed to directly comment on Kwanzaa. Yet, persons of godly devotion can reason personally, based on their bible-trained consciences...
As the questioner notes, Kwanzaa is pointedly NOT religious or superstitious, is pointedly NOT nationalistic, is pointedly NOT intended to exalt any human or human organization, and (at least recently) is pointedly NOT restricted to a particular race or ethnicity. During its few decades of existence, the "holiday" has not yet become inextricably associated with practices explicitly condemned by the bible, such as overdrinking or bawdiness.
As a point of notable contrast, the so-called "holiday" of Festivus seems rather obviously to be incompatible with true Christianity. Festivus seems to evoke pagan worship of the phallus (with the aluminum pole as its proxy; compare Deut 16:21; Judges 3:7), and involve practices which are anathema to peaceable Christians (for example, compare its ceremonial "airing of grievances" with Romans 12:18).
Nevertheless, it seems likely that Kwanzaa will be avoided by true Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) for three main reasons:
1. Kwanzaa will always be linked with its human founder, who espoused controversial ideas in conflict with the bible and Christian sensibilities.
2. Kwanzaa is intentionally scheduled to bridge between the established holidays of Christmas and New Years Day. While it is likely that this scheduling primarily concerns convenience (such as school closings and work vacations), true Christians have already rejected a similar argument vis-a-vis Christmas and Saturnalia. Sadly, a connection between Kwanzaa and the worship of both the pagan god Saturn and the pagan god Janus is thus implied by the scheduling of Kwanzaa.
3. Similar to the government's establishment of Thanksgiving, true Christians object to the notion that a particular calendar date is needed to remind them of their need to improve themselves and thank their Creator. Rather than the government, it is God's Word and the action of holy spirit which most effectively moves godly persons to work at becoming better persons.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the holiday....Only the Ignorant of what the holiday actually means would call it racist. The Holiday is not just for Blacks.
For the ignorant:
I Guess MLK jr. day is racist also since he was a leader of the civil rights movement, I guess Malcolm X was racist all his life ( he did change some opinions after finding out that Muslims come in all shades not just black). If the thinking that Kwanzaa is racist is true then would Hanukkah be a racist holiday...make up your mind people. Any time Black people want to celebrate something, it is coined as racist.....get real!
Do the non believers even know what Kwanzaa is about? check out the link :

Kwanzaa isn't spoken much of in these parts. Interestingly, in my lifetime so far I haven't come across anyone who celebrates it let alone glorify's it.
As for the witnesses I dont know there take is on that day, probaly like the rest of the other holidays, they see no importance to it.
