It does not. Lots of people are single and are 45 (or younger or older) and are super happy without a soulmate.

Yes I do believe that everyone has a Soul Mate, I dated this guy when I was 16 -20 off and on and we never broke up just took breaks and never on bad terms we were always friends,I left Chicago @ 22 and only came back home for vacation and we'd spend time together and went back to texas and haven't seen him in 12 yrs untill I came back home in 2006 and we ran into eachother again and back together again and we both have the same feelings for eachother after all these years and even more because were older and neither of us married in the past because we both knew that we both were destined to be together so we waited for eachother not knowing if we would see eachother again but we had a long talk and found out that we still have the same feelings and knew that we would happen. so in My Heart and Mind I do believe in Soul Mates because I'm here today with My One True Soul Mate... Always Loved him and Always will....

I think that everybody has a soulmate, it's just whether or not you can find them. Of course there are a multitude of people that you can be happy with, but none of them can compare to the connection you would have with your soulmate. I'm still looking for mine. Good luck on finding yours.

I believe so. You find them when you are not looking. I know this i found mine. Like your grand parents say you just know. If you settle for less than everything you wont find them though. As long as your happy i would say your doing alright. Dont stress it will happen eventually. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and im not a big christian. I broke my neck (thank goodness i can still walk) and me and my fiance and only been together for a very short time but him seeing me in the ambulance made him realize jsut how much he loved me and i relized how much i loved/ and needed him in my life when he nursed me back to health.

soul-mates are not just lovers, they are people that you need to learn something from. Some things you need to learn from them are hard lessons, some easy lessons, some are in your life for a short while, some come in and out of your life and some are there forever.
As to someone to love...there is more than just one person who is right for you. At different times of your life, different people will be right for you. The only reason you might not be aware of this is that once you find someone, most people stop looking.

I think that soul mates do exist, but I don't think that you have just one. It's too illogical to think that there is only ONE person for everyone. I think that God made a handful of people that you are completely compatible with, and if you're lucky in life, you will find one of those people. :) I hope that you find one. Good luck!

i don't think so, but everyone has different views.
i think any one person has a million matches, it's just when you find them, what you want at that time and what point in life you two are at.
BUT that's just me... =)
